On Saturday, Nov. 3rd, 2007, Thirty-One New Jersey student poets left from Arts High School in Newark, NJ with coaches James Manno (Arts High) and Divad Sanders (SLAM! Global C.E.O.) to compete in the 2008 NY Knicks Youth Poetry SLAM! Competition against 1,500+ student competitors from the Tri-State Area.

All 31 students from New Jersey will proceed to the SEMI FINALS in JANUARY 08!
